Features:
These tie rods are designed for those who demand unparalleled strength and reliability in their steering components, where failure is not an option. These assemblies feature a 32% larger-diameter forged sleeve, a 27% larger-diameter toe adjusting shaft, and 14% larger, stronger ball studs. The outer tie rod end boasts a spring-loaded ball-stud seat, maintaining constant pressure and the OEM steering knuckle taper. The inner tie rod end is adjustable via the end cap and includes a powdered metal ball seat and a rubber shim for clearance compensation.
Do not exceed 500 PSI of pressure when applying grease, as it risks damaging the grease caps, causing tie rod failure and voiding your warranty. Be cautious of overextending the tie rod angle, which might damage the inner tie rod or outer ball stud retaining assembly. Common causes include steep tie rod–steering rack angles and the overextension of modified suspensions.
