The OE Duramax L5P has an oil drainage problem, it doesn't drain more than over half a quart of its dirtiest oil. These heaviest parts of the oil settle in the bottom of the valley of the OE oil pan, this oil is trapped and never drained, immediately contaminating your fresh oil. Luckily, PPE has solved this issue with their flat, angled bottom for a more complete oil drain. Replace your factory-stamped steel oil pan and get rid of that dirty oil that you've been holding on to. Give your L5P a fresh, clean start with this simple bolt-on upgrade.

Lowers Temperatures & Adds Longer Service Life

The PPE Heavy-Duty Deep-Capacity Cast Engine Oil Pan increases your engine's fluid capacity and thermal endurance, extending its service life. Engine temperatures are further reduced due to the thick, cast aluminum alloy construction and internal ribs that add strength and rigidity. Additionally, the PPE L5P Oil Pan includes a convenient NPT port for temperature sensor installation. It also comes with a billet, hardened stainless steel drain plug equipped with a powerful neodymium magnet to capture metal particles and prevent internal damage. An O-ring is provided to ensure a tight seal.
