Then, it is pressure tested and decked to guarentee it can withstand the high pressures of the combustion chamber without leaking. Once the machining process is complete, these cylinder heads are painted with a high-quality finish to protect against corriosion, rust, and wear. Additionally, Fleece has incorporated 11 screw-in freeze plugs, a key feature that significantly improves the durability of the head. Unlike traditional press-fit plugs, screw-in freeze plugs provide a much more secure and permanent seal. • Head gasket not included. Cummins 3958645 is recommended.
• Core and crate return required - all paperwork and instructions for return included with the new cylinder head. You are responsible for all return shipping costs of the core.
• Follow all installation instructions; Valve lash required. Back off adjusters on rocker arms or damage will occur to the cylinder head. For all applications over stock horsepower we recommend the use of ARP625 or ARP L19 12mm head studs.
