Rather than loading this model with every feature found on the flagship XB EVO, Morimoto focused the Hybrid around the things that matter most while driving, including powerful optics, quality components, and dependable construction. Four Bi LED projectors in each headlight produce a bright and wide low beam that helps illuminate more of the road, while the high beams provide the reach needed for dark rural routes and late nights around the jobsite. Bright white DRLs give the truck a modern presence during the day, and the dedicated amber turn signal delivers a clean fade off effect that complements the updated styling. You also get a piano black internal finish that changes the attitude of the front end without looking out of place against the Super Duty's factory bodywork. Installation keeps things familiar by using the original mounting locations and factory wiring, with Morimoto engineering the assemblies to operate without unwanted flickering, dash errors, or radio interference. Proven Optics Form The Core Of Every Beam

The LF2-503Y XB EVO Hybrid uses four Type 1 Ishida Optic Bi LED projectors per headlight, pairing each optic with a Nichia NC4W193F automotive LED operating at 750mA. This optical package supports low beam and high beam functions while meeting DOT, SAE, and FMVSS108 requirements with the standard drivers installed. Beam aim can be vertically adjusted through a range of plus or minus six degrees, giving owners the flexibility to properly align the lighting on stock height trucks as well as many lifted applications. Beyond the main projectors, each assembly integrates park lights, white DRLs, amber turn signals, and a DOT compliant amber side reflector into a complete replacement housing. Morimoto uses polycarbonate lenses treated with a proprietary UV resistant hard coating to help protect against the fading, yellowing, and surface deterioration that headlights encounter through years of sun exposure. The assemblies also use OE grade wiring and connections, while the supplied harnesses and supporting components help integrate them with compatible North American Super Duty electrical systems. For dedicated off road lighting, the headlights accept optional LF2-DRVSC15 Supercharged Drivers that increase low and high beam intensity by approximately 30 percent and unlock the multi stage welcome sequence, but installing those drivers makes the headlights noncompliant for public road use in the USA and Canada.
