Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

The 2010-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Fog Light Kit features custom-engineered TIR optics that work to collect all of the available light from the LEDs and channel it into the areas you need to fill your view. These optics offer the most efficient light distribution with the least amount of glare. Other comparable lighting options will lose as much as 10% of light output when the light shines through the outer lenses, but the custom-molded TIR optics act as both the optic and main lens to prevent this. The SAE Driving beam pattern throws light farther, so that you can see into the distance with more clarity. High-powered light is produced from the Sport model LEDs, which are Diode Dynamic's most cost effective option, but that does not mean they do not pack a serious punch. It is one thing to promise this premium lighting performance, but getting that same performance time and time again is hard to come by. These fog lights are tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.
