Meticulously Crafted
Choate Engineering sets up their 7.3L Powerstroke Full Running Model C precisely with everything needed to get it bolted on, and features improvements to reliability over the OE 7.3L. Choate conducts full CNC blueprint machining to ensure precision for the cylinder bore angles and clearances. This crate engine includes new OE lifters, lifter guides and OE crank flange bolts. Choate improves upon the OE 7.3L in various ways, ensuring their engine is a cut above the standard Ford 7.3L. One issue is pistons cracking on the OE 7.3L, Choate uses a different piston that was designed more rigid for commercial application. Crankshaft runout also plagued the 7.3L, Choate ensure their crankshaft wont run out of round by machining it to a true round and concentric state so it won't bend like the OE part.
