Handles Heavy-Duty Tasks Effortlessly

The 6.7L Powerstroke is known for its reliability and strength, but Choate has pushed it further with their 6.7L Workhorse Short Block. This engine is built to tackle tough towing and demanding jobs with ease. It's designed specifically to meet heavy-duty needs, boasting upgrades beyond the Choate Engineering Daily Driver model. With features like O-Ringed Heads, Billet Flex Plate, Coated Pistons, Fly Cut and Delipped Pistons, Stage 2 Cam, Chromoly Pushrods, oil pans, and Welded Crank Gear, it's engineered for durability. Compared to the OE 6.7L, it's much tougher. Fully assembled and ready for installation, the Choate Engineering 6.7L Workhorse Short Block is your solution for heavy-duty work that remains reliable throughout.

Upgraded and Enhanced 6.7L Powerstroke

The 6.7L Workhorse Short Block is tailored to significantly enhance and improve upon the OE 6.7L, addressing its shortcomings. Through CNC blueprinting, Choate ensures precise alignment of the crankshaft and engine block, promoting smooth and friction-free operation. This upgraded block comes with studs, bed seals, lifters, rear cover gasket, rear main seal, OE harmonic balancer, and pickup tube O-ring. Furthermore, Choate's 6.7L Workhorse Short Block is fully balanced and prepped for installation.

Choate Engineering enhances the OE Ford 6.7L engine with their improved 6.7L Workhorse Short Block. One issue addressed is the Main and Rod bearing clearance problems in the OE 6.7L. Choate tackles this by precision machining for correct clearances and using upgraded bearings designed to handle higher stress levels. Another concern is potential separation of OE 6.7L exhaust valves, which can cause compression loss and engine failure. To prevent this, Choate installs heavy-duty valves resistant to high temperatures. Additionally, Choate resolves cam tunnel misalignment, a common issue in OE 6.7L engines, by utilizing proprietary bearings for perfect alignment. For durability and power needed for heavy-duty work, Choate Engineering's 6.7L Workhorse Short Block is the top choice.
