Handles Heavy-Duty Tasks Effortlessly

While the 6.7L Powerstroke is known for its reliability, Choate takes it a step further with their 6.7L Workhorse Short Block. This engine is crafted to effortlessly handle demanding towing and heavy-duty tasks. It's specifically designed to meet these needs, featuring upgrades surpassing the Choate Engineering Model C. Equipped with Torque Plate Honing, Full Engine Balancing, Harmonic Balancer, Head Studs, Valve Seats, Rear Cover and Pickup Tube, Oil Pans, and Welded Crank Gear, it's notably tougher than the OE 6.7L. Fully assembled and installation-ready, the Choate Engineering 6.7L Workhorse Short Block offers a reliable solution for heavy-duty work.

Upgraded and Enhanced 6.7L Powerstroke

The 6.7L Workhorse Short Block is designed to greatly improve upon the OE 6.7L, fixing its flaws. Using CNC blueprinting, Choate guarantees precise alignment of the crankshaft and engine block for smooth operation. This upgraded block includes studs, bed seals, lifters, rear cover gasket, rear main seal, OE harmonic balancer, and pickup tube O-ring. Plus, Choate ensures the 6.7L Workhorse Short Block is fully balanced and ready for installation.

Choate Engineering improves the OE Ford 6.7L engine with their upgraded 6.7L Workhorse Short Block. They address issues like Main and Rod bearing clearance problems by precision machining for correct clearances and using upgraded bearings. To prevent potential separation of OE 6.7L exhaust valves, Choate installs heavy-duty valves resistant to high temperatures. They also solve cam tunnel misalignment, a common issue in OE 6.7L engines, by using proprietary bearings for perfect alignment. For durability and power required for heavy-duty work, Choate Engineering's 6.7L Workhorse Short Block stands out as the top choice.
