Choate Engineering takes the 6.7L Powerstroke to the next level with their 6.7L Full Running Workhorse. The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse was built for those who need the capability to regularly tow heavy loads and handle tough jobs. Featuring several excellent upgrades over the Daily Driver model, including O-Ringed Heads, Billet Flex Plate, Coated, Fly Cut and Delipped Pistons, Stage 2 Cam, Chromoly Pushrods, and Welded Cam Gear. The Choate Engineering 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is fully built and includes everything needed for a quick and painless install.

Built for Reliability and Performance

Choate Engineering engineers this heavy-duty Long Block engine to be a significant leap in reliability and durability over the OE 6.7L. Choate Engineering utilizes CNC blueprinting to line hone the crankshaft, aligning it precisely with the engine block and ensuring frictionless operation. The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse features new head gaskets, studs, bed seals, new lifters, rear cover gasket, rear main seal, new OE harmonic balancer and a new fly wheel. Choate's 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is also fully balanced.

Choate Engineering aimed to address common issues found in the OE 6.7L to ensure they do not occur in their 6.7L Full Running Workhorse. One common issue with the OE 6.7L is Main and Rod bearing clearance problems. Choate's solution involves machining for the correct clearances and using upgraded bearings designed to handle higher levels of stress. Another common problem is the separation of OE exhaust valves, which can lead to lost compression and piston contact, resulting in catastrophic failure. To prevent this, Choate uses heavy-duty valves that can withstand high heat without separating. Additionally, cam tunnel misalignment is common in the OE 6.7L. Choate addresses this issue by using proprietary bearings to ensure perfect alignment.

• All 6.7 Powerstroke balanced assemblies from Choate Engineering come with the updated 6-bolt flexplate from 2013+ and require the customer to update the torque converter or purchase one from us directly.
• Before purchasing please verify the year model engine is compatible with your truck. 6.7 Powerstrokes Came stock from Ford with a 8-bolt flexplate and torque converter that are no longer manufactured.
