The 6.7L Powerstroke is a great engine, theres no doubt, however it has room for improvement. Choate has taken the 6.7L Powerstroke to the next level with their 6.7L Full Running Workhorse. Engineered to effortlessly tackle heavy duty towing and demanding tasks, this sturdy engine is specifically designed to meet heavy-duty requirements. It boasts enhancements that surpass those of the Choate Engineering Daily Driver model, including O-Ringed Heads, Billet Flex Plate, Coated Pistons, Fly Cut and Delipped Pistons, Stage 2 Cam, Chromoly Pushrods, and Welded Cam Gear. The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is engineered for heavy-duty work and has greatly improved durability over the OE 6.7L Fully assembled and equipped for easy installation, the Choate Engineering 6.7L Full Running Workhorse can handle anything you can throw at it.

Enhanced Over the OE 6.7L

The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is designed specifically to be a complete upgrade over the OE 6.7L, fixing its issues and improving upon it. Utilizing CNC blueprinting, Choate precisely aligns the crankshaft with the engine block, ensuring smooth operation without friction. The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse includes new head gaskets, studs, bed seals, lifters, rear cover gasket, rear main seal, OE harmonic balancer, and flywheel. Additionally, Choate's 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is also fully balanced.

Choate Engineering solves prevalent issues found in the OE Ford 6.7L engine with their innovative 6.7L Full Running Workhorse. Among these issues is the occurrence of Main and Rod bearing clearance problems in the OE 6.7L. Choate's remedy involves precision machining to achieve the correct clearances and the utilization of upgraded bearings engineered to withstand heightened stress levels. Another common concern is the potential separation of OE 6.7L exhaust valves, which can lead to compression loss and piston contact, resulting in catastrophic engine failure. To avert this, Choate adds heavy-duty valves capable of sustaining high temperatures without separating. Moreover, OE 6.7L engines frequently suffer from cam tunnel misalignment. Choate addresses this issue by incorporating their proprietary bearings to ensure perfect alignment. Choate Engineering's 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is an incredibly durable and enhanced beast of an engine.

• All 6.7 Powerstroke balanced assemblies from Choate Engineering come with the updated 6-bolt flexplate from 2013+ and require the customer to update the torque converter or purchase one from us directly.
• Before purchasing please verify the year model engine is compatible with your truck. 6.7 Powerstrokes Came stock from Ford with a 8-bolt flexplate and torque converter that are no longer manufactured.
