This engine is perfect for spirited daily driving and recreational towing, such as with RVs and trailers. It comes with nearly all the necessary components for easy installation, including 2 Water pumps, 4 Thermostats, Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, Front cover and gaskets, Turbocharger Turbo, Pickup tube, Map Sensor, Coolant Temp Sensor, Intake Air Temp Sensor, Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor, Engine Oil Pressure Switch, Crank Position Sensor, Camshaft Position Sensor, Oil Cooler, and Fuel Filter. Additionally, it features upgrades over the Model C, like Torque Plate Honing, Full Engine Balancing, Harmonic Balancer, Head Studs, Valve Seats, Rear Cover and Pickup Tube, Oil Pans, and Welded Crank Gear. Improved and Enhanced 6.7L
The 6.7L Full Running Daily Driver improves upon the OE 6.7L while fixing common problems. One major issue with the OE is Main and Rod bearing clearance, which Choate addresses through precision machining and upgraded bearings. They also tackle potential separation of OE 6.7L exhaust valves by adding heavy-duty, heat-resistant valves. Additionally, Choate ensures proper cam tunnel alignment using their own high-quality proprietary bearings. Another problem is OE crank gear spinning, which can damage all 32 pushrods. Choate prevents this by securely welding all gears in place, ensuring no unwanted spinning. - All 6.7 Powerstroke balanced assemblies from Choate Engineering come with the updated 6-bolt flexplate from 2013+ and require the customer to update the torque converter or purchase one from us directly.2017+ 6.7 Powerstrokes have a larger Hole Diameter for the motor mounts and bolts.
