Choate has enhanced the 6.7L Powerstroke's durability and performance with their 6.7L Full Running Daily Driver, offering a significant improvement over the OE version. This engine is perfect for spirited daily driving and recreational towing, such as with RVs and trailers. It comes with nearly all the necessary components for easy installation, including 2 Water pumps, 4 Thermostats, Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, Front cover and gaskets, Turbocharger Turbo, Pickup tube, Map Sensor, Coolant Temp Sensor, Intake Air Temp Sensor, Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor, Engine Oil Pressure Switch, Crank Position Sensor, Camshaft Position Sensor, Oil Cooler, and Fuel Filter. Additionally, it features upgrades over the Model C, like Torque Plate Honing, Full Engine Balancing, Harmonic Balancer, Head Studs, Valve Seats, Rear Cover and Pickup Tube, Oil Pans, and Welded Crank Gear. Enhanced and Improved 6.7L

The 6.7L Full Running Daily Driver is upgraded over the OE 6.7L while addressing common issues. One major issue that plagues the OE is Main and Rod bearing clearance, which Choate tackles with precision machining and upgraded bearings. They also address potential separation of OE 6.7L exhaust valves by adding heavy-duty valves resistant to high temperatures. Additionally, Choate resolves cam tunnel misalignment using proprietary bearings for perfect alignment. Another issue is OE crank gear spinning, which can bend all 32 pushrods. Choate solves this by tig welding all gears in place eliminating the chance of unwanted spinning. • All 6.7 Powerstroke balanced assemblies from Choate Engineering come with the updated 6-bolt flexplate from 2013+ and require the customer to update the torque converter or purchase one from us directly.2017+ 6.7 Powerstrokes have a larger Hole Diameter for the motor mounts and bolts.
