Choate Engineering sets up its 6.7L Powerstroke Full Running Daily Driver with precise engineering and features improvements to reliability over the OE 6.7L and the Choate Model C. The upgraded components of the Powerstroke Full Running Daily Driver, compared to the Model C, including but are not limited to: precise torque plate honing, a fully balanced engine, a harmonic balancer, head studs, valve seats, rear cover and pickup tube, included oil pans, and a welded crank gear. Additionally, the Powerstroke Full Running Daily Driver features many fixes to common issues with the OE 6.7L. Firstly, there are main and rod bearing clearance issues which Choate addresses by correcting the clearances and upgrading the bearings to handle higher loads. Secondly, the OEM exhaust valves tend to separate, causing loss of compression and piston-to-valve contact resulting in failure. To remedy this, Choate utilizes new valves made from high-quality materials that do not separate. Lastly, the OEM 6.7L can suffer from cam tunnel misalignment, which Choate resolves by using their own proprietary bearings for perfect alignment. Choate Engineering has meticulously upgraded its engine over the Model C variant, as well as addressing significant issues with the OE 6.7L. Thus, the 6.7L Powerstroke Full Running Daily Driver is a truly upgraded and perfected beast.

- All 6.7 Powerstroke balanced assemblies from Choate Engineering come with the updated 6-bolt flexplate from 2013+ and require the customer to update the torque converter or purchase one from us directly. 2017+ 6.7 Powerstrokes have a larger Hole Diameter for the motor mounts and bolts.
