Firstly, Choate addresses main and rod bearing clearance issues by adjusting clearances and upgrading bearings to withstand heavier loads. Secondly, Choate tackles the problem of OEM exhaust valves separating, which can result in compression loss and piston-to-valve contact failure, by introducing new valves made from durable materials.   • All 6.7 Powerstroke balanced assemblies from Choate Engineering come with the updated 6-bolt flexplate from 2013+ and require the customer to update the torque converter or purchase one from us directly. 2017+ 6.7 Powerstrokes have a larger Hole Diameter for the motor mounts and bolts.
