The 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax is a monster of a diesel truck, but that does not mean it is always perfect. To get closer to ultimate perfection, upgrade the weak factory rod bearing with the 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax Mahle P-Series Rod Bearing. It features a much stronger hardened steel construction that is designed for high RPM applications in which your factory unit would suffer from rod bore close-in. This P-Series rod bearing has the greatest amount eccentricity possible and high crush for maximizing the retention. Although it is stronger than the factory unit, it does still have a thinner build that will prevent overlay fatigue.
