This traction bar brackets securely bolt on to the bottom of the axle tube using the existing axle u-bolts, while the front end is welded directly to the frame for a solid and stable mounting point. At the axle connection, Wehrli utilizes a heavy-duty Polyurethane Bushing to significantly decrease noise and vibration, which is a common complaint with traditional kits that use solid helms at both ends. To further increase the stability of this kit, Grade 8 hardware connects the bars to the mounts on the frame and axle. Each traction bar kit is finished with Wehrli's professional, in-house powder coat process in your color choice and comes standard with a epoxy Primer base coat before the final color. As a result, this increases corrosion resistance by over 10x, compared to our competitors' single coat application.
