To protect against oxidation, it is finished with a powder coat. The HitchLink PRO 2.0 fits all standard 2" receivers and common 3/4" screw pin shackles/D-Rings. If you have soft shackles, there is a large machined radius on shackle mount hole that allows for compatibility. For steel shackles, there is a unique cylindrical surface that supports them, so they are compatible as well.
