When you are able to get away from civilization and off of the comfort of paved roads, it can really be a mind-clearing experience, but if you are not fully prepared for what the natural world has in-store for you, then you could end up stuck somewhere with no one that can help. Having all of the available recovery parts and accessories is important before you make your journey off the grid, especially if you are discovering some place new. There are going to be times that you need to use your receiver as a recovery tow point. The Factor 55 HitchLink 3.0 provides the best way to do just that.
Rated at 18,000 LB
The Factor 55 HitchLink 3.0 features a lightweight precision CNC machined 6000 series aluminum construction that is only 5 lb in total weight. It is easy to store in your vehicle with the rest of your recovery accessories. Just because it is lightweight, does not mean that it is not strong. The HitchLink 3.0 is rated at 18,000 lb and will not reach ultimate failure until at 70,000 lb. To protect against oxidation, it is finished with a powder coat. You might be excited about getting one of these for your recovery accessory toolbox, but first you must make sure it is going to be the right fit. The HitchLink 3.0 fits all standard Class V 3" receivers and common 3/4" or 7/8" screw pin shackles/D-Rings. If you have soft shackles, there is a machined radius on shackle mount hole that allows for compatibility.
Fitment: Universal
Important Notes: - Never exceed factory receiver hitch pull rating
- Always use a quality steel alloy 5/8" hitch pin
- Always pull in line with the hitch, do not bind or side load the shackle
