Enhanced Over the OE 6.7L
The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is designed specifically to be a complete upgrade over the OE 6.7L, fixing its issues and improving upon it. Utilizing CNC blueprinting, Choate precisely aligns the crankshaft with the engine block, ensuring smooth operation without friction. The 6.7L Full Running Workhorse includes new head gaskets, studs, bed seals, lifters, rear cover gasket, rear main seal, OE harmonic balancer, and flywheel. Additionally, Choate's 6.7L Full Running Workhorse is also fully balanced.
Choate Engineering solves prevalent issues found in the OE Ford 6.7L engine with their innovative 6.7L Full Running Workhorse. Among these issues is the occurrence of Main and Rod bearing clearance problems in the OE 6.7L. Choate's remedy involves precision machining to achieve the correct clearances and the utilization of upgraded bearings engineered to withstand heightened stress levels. Another common concern is the potential separation of OE 6.7L exhaust valves, which can lead to compression loss and piston contact, resulting in catastrophic engine failure. To avert this, Choate adds heavy-duty valves capable of sustaining high temperatures without separating. Moreover, OE 6.7L engines frequently suffer from cam tunnel misalignment. Choate addresses this issue by incorporating their proprietary bearings to ensure perfect alignment. Choate Engineering's 6.7L Full Running Workhorse was designed to be incredibly durable and high performing for heavy-duty towing.
