With stage 2 camshaft, coated, flycut, and delipped pistons, a fresh flex plate, and harmonic balancer, the 6.6L Short Block Workhorse offers enhanced durability and performance compared to the original equipment. Choate Engineering solves potential issues that the OE 6.6L had. One design flaw the OE 6.6L LB7 had was using of a right-handed thread oil pump nut that would back off and prevent oil from reaching the engine. To fix this Choate Engineering has implemented the use of a left-handed nut that won't back out of the thread. Choate Engineering's 6.6L Workhorse Short Block lives up it its name, and is ready to tackle the toughest jobs with ease.
